News about Tom's health

We haven't really shared this with anyone, but Tom has recently been dealing with pain in a certain area (I'm trying to be discreet) and we found out through an ultrasound that he has two cysts. These are common with men and are not Cancer. So that's an answer to prayer and a huge relief. However, he does have something called Varicocele or something like that, and basically he has a lot of veins that are causing pain in that area. This too is common in men and it is treatable with surgery. We're not sure when the surgery will be, we have to check with insurance first and then set a date with the hospital. At the most he could be out recovering up to three weeks.

We are thankful this is treatable and that he can finally live without that pain. He's had this since we've been married, which will be seven years in July. He was checked a few times by doctors on base but nothing was ever said to this extent. So it's frustrating. At least now it will be taken care of.

Other than that, we are just rolling along with life and enjoying the time we have together. To all our friends and family reading this we miss you! God bless you!

P.S. This is a cute video of Kailey being the ham that she is. Enjoy :)
